Job summary

Sdsoybean in Flandreau, SD seeks Winter Maintenance Seasonal workers for snow and ice removal on state highways. Two positions available, Day shift (1) and Night shift (1, 3:30 pm–12:00 am), with 40 hours per week and possible overtime.

Must be 18+, have a valid CDL with N Tank endorsement, and be willing to work in varied winter conditions. Drug screening and driving record checks are required; report within 30 minutes to the DOT shop when called.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age and able to operate heavy equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and Class A or Class B CDL with N: Tank Vehicles endorsement.
• If you do not have a N: Tank Vehicles endorsement you have 30 days to obtain it.
• Drug and alcohol testing is required at various stages of employment.

Responsibilities

• Snow and ice removal on State highways during winter weather.
• Perform a variety of highway maintenance tasks.
• Operate equipment and assist with road maintenance as needed.
