Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an Analyst, Cloud Ops to design, implement, and manage Windows-based infrastructure. The role focuses on scalable, secure Wintel environments, with collaboration across teams to ensure performance, security, and reliability.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of Windows infrastructure experience, proficiency in PowerShell, and familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure). A strong emphasis on automation and ITIL-aligned processes is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• 5+ years of Windows system administration, infrastructure engineering, and solution architecture.
• Hands-on with Windows Server 2012+ and core Microsoft services.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure Wintel infrastructure aligned with IT strategy.
• Deploy and maintain Windows Server, AD, IIS, SQL Server; IaC with PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform.
• Monitor performance; optimize resources using SCOM and SolarWinds.
• Enforce security; patch management and access controls; conduct audits.
• Develop DR/BC plans; test readiness; minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and support; collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain architecture documentation; promote knowledge sharing.
• Stay current with technologies; evaluate new tools for automation.
