Job summary

Johnson Controls in Milwaukee, WI is seeking an Analyst, Cloud Ops to design, implement, and manage Windows-based infrastructure and related services. You will architect scalable, secure systems and drive IaC initiatives across on-prem and cloud environments.

Responsibilities include deploying Windows Server environments, AD services, IIS/SQL, and automation with PowerShell, Ansible, and Terraform, while ensuring performance, security, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years Windows systems administration, infrastructure engineering, and solution architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server 2012+ and core Microsoft services.
• Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure, and highly available Windows-based infrastructure.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments and AD services.
• Implement IaC using PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform.
• Monitor performance and optimize resources; use SCOM and SolarWinds.
• Enforce security best practices, patching, access controls, hardening.
• Develop and maintain DR/BC plans and conduct testing.
• Provide expert troubleshooting and cross-team collaboration.
• Maintain architecture docs and promote knowledge sharing.
• Stay current with emerging tech and automation to improve operations.
