Job summary

J. Scott Cellars in downtown Eugene is seeking a friendly Tasting Room Associate to welcome visitors, guide tastings, and share the story behind every bottle from our 30 varietals.

Join a small, professional team and help grow our wine club community, keep tasting spaces sparkling, and serve wine and accompaniments. Strong communication and teamwork are essential, and weekly weekend availability is appreciated.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the wine industry and wine tasting rooms.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to discuss wines and wine clubs with customers.
• 21+ with OLCC and Food Handlers permits.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and stand for hours.
• Must multitask and have strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors and guide them through tastings.
• Share the story behind each bottle.
• Grow the wine club community.
• Keep tasting spaces sparkling clean and stocked.
• Serve wine and food; prepare cheese plates and snacks.
• Bus tables and work as a team with staff.
