Job summary

Empire Merchants North in Upstate New York seeks a high‑energy Field Sales Manager (Freedom Division/Moet Hennessy) to cover Central NY counties including Broome, Cayuga, Chemung, Cortland, Herkimer, Jefferson, Madison, Oneida, Onondaga, Oswego, Tioga, and Tompkins.

You will lead a team of sales representatives, plan for each sales period, and hold weekly meetings to drive goals. Develop coaching plans, manage accounts, and support growth across a premier wine and spirits portfolio.

Qualifications

• Must be a results oriented professional with strong communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task, work independently or in a team, meet deadlines.
• Proficient in MS Office and presentation software.

Responsibilities

• Pre‑plans before each sales period by meeting reps and setting targets.
• Hold weekly one‑on‑one sales meetings to review objectives and opportunities.
• Develop and review performance plans, conduct evaluations, and coach.
• Address skill gaps with customized coaching and progress tracking.
• Maintain relationships with key accounts and drive openings and resets.
• Assist HR in candidate sourcing, interviews, and onboarding.
• Coordinate supplier ride‑withs and manage supplier surveys with reps.
