Responsabilidades

• Coordinate the daily transportation of wine products, packaging materials, and cellar supplies.
• Plan and optimize delivery routes within the Western Cape wine region and to designated off-site locations.
• Manage relationships with transport providers, ensuring timely and efficient service.
• Ensure that all wine shipments are handled appropriately to maintain quality and prevent damage.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory movements, and transportation costs.
• Liaise with the cellar, vineyard, and sales teams to coordinate logistics effectively.
• Monitor transport schedules and address delays or issues.
• Assist in managing inventory levels for transport-related supplies.
• Ensure compliance with transport regulations and company quality standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics department.

About the Role

Our client, a dynamic wine estate and distributor in the picturesque **Paarl** valley, **Western Cape**, is seeking a proactive and organized Wine Region Transport Coordinator. This role is instrumental in managing the logistics of wine distribution, including bottled wine, raw materials, and equipment, within the **Western Cape** wine region and to external markets. The ideal candidate will possess excellent planning skills, a keen understanding of supply chain operations, and the ability to navigate the specific demands of transporting wine products, such as temperature sensitivity and handling requirements. This is a **hybrid** position, balancing operational oversight at our **Paarl** facility with remote administrative tasks. Strong local knowledge of the **Paarl** and surrounding wine-growing areas is highly advantageous.
