Our client, a distinguished international wine merchant, is seeking a highly organized and experienced Remote Global Wine Logistics Coordinator. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to manage the complex international movement of fine wines from your home office, ideally based near **Paarl, Western Cape**, leveraging your understanding of the region's unique logistics. You will be instrumental in ensuring that our client's exceptional wine portfolio reaches discerning customers worldwide, seamlessly navigating international shipping regulations, customs, and cold chain requirements. The ideal candidate possesses a sophisticated understanding of global supply chains, a keen eye for detail in managing fragile and temperature-sensitive goods, and exceptional communication skills to liaise with partners across different continents and time zones. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the end-to-end logistics of international wine shipments, ensuring compliance with all relevant import/export regulations and customs requirements.
• Manage relationships with international shipping lines, air cargo carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
• Ensure adherence to strict cold chain management protocols throughout the transportation process to maintain wine quality.
• Track shipments in real-time, providing proactive updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Resolve logistical challenges, including customs delays, shipping exceptions, and inventory discrepancies, with speed and efficiency.
• Prepare and manage all necessary shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and phytosanitary certificates.

Requirements
