Riboli Family Wines in Paso Robles is seeking a passionate, service-oriented Tasting Room and Events Associate to welcome guests, educate them about our wines, and support events at our San Simeon Tasting Room. The role blends wine education, guest service, and hands-on event coordination in a fast-paced setting.

Candidates should have hospitality experience, strong communication, and a willingness to learn about wine and viticulture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in hospitality, restaurant, or event coordination.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
• Friendly, professional demeanor with strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Must be tech-savvy and comfortable learning new platforms.
• Experience with Tripleseat catering software is a plus.
• Sales-driven with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
• Willingness to learn about wine and viticulture.
• Able to stand for long periods of time and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish or Italian) preferred.
• Able to work flexible hours, mornings, evenings, weekdays, and weekends.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of event coordination from inquiry to planning, vendor management, and on-site execution.
• Coordinate with outside vendors to fulfill client event needs.
• Leverage hospitality expertise to develop strong guest relationships.
• Handle event inquiries and communicate with prospective and confirmed clients.
• Serve as liaison between clients and staff for event details.
• Delegate tasks to support staff and vendors to meet timelines.
• Support event setup, greet clients on arrival, and assist with execution.
• Follow up with clients post-event to encourage repeat business.
• Communicate with kitchen staff about event details and dietary needs.
• Greet customers warmly and advise on wines and tastings.
• Process routine point-of-sale transactions and maintain brand standards.
