Job summary

Maisons Marques & Domaines (MMD) seeks a driven District Manager to market and sell our international and domestic wine & champagne portfolio across Northern California, focusing on the SF Bay Area. You will build relationships with key accounts, distributors, and suppliers, drive market penetration, and lead tastings and trainings for staff and accounts.

You will report to the California RM, assist in visits, and prepare regular sales reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree desired with 3–5 years of industry-related sales experience in distribution, hospitality or supplier community.
• Comprehensive and current knowledge/experience with wine & spirits including regions/varietals, product/food pairing techniques, basic production & service.
• Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance and a reliable car; acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Marketing and selling MMD's international & domestic portfolio to general market on/off premise accounts, primarily in the SF Bay Area and Northern California.
• Maximize sales to trade & consumer through planning, relationship building with key accounts & distributor reps, key account management & direct sales.
• Prepare required sales activity & administrative reports through VIP & Karma software.
• Support RM in distributor/supplier visits management and monthly business reviews.
• Conduct focused tastings/seminars to motivate sales staff or key accounts.
• Educate distributor in culture, objectives & current industry news of the wineries represented by MMD.
