Job summary

Palm Bay International in California seeks a District Manager, Northern California, to own relationships and drive growth across top accounts within the 100 Top Accounts universe. This home-based role covers California with travel to supplier events, dinners, and training, requiring a strong presence in rooms with distributors and customers.

You bring 5+ years in distributor or supplier sales (wine & spirits preferred), a solid wine and spirits knowledge base, and outstanding communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years distributor or supplier experience; wine & spirits sales preferred.
• Strong knowledge of wine and spirits with ability to teach others.
• Competitive, charismatic personality with presentation skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Excellent organization and time management; multitasking.
• Self-driven in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage the target account universe across on- and off-premise.
• Develop and execute monthly plans with distributor partners.
• Plan supplier visits, wine dinners and tastings to generate demand.
• Own the annual sales plan for California and track KPIs.
