Job summary

OfCorsica restaurant is seeking a skilled Sommelier to enhance our wine program and guest experience. This in-house role focuses on recommending wines, educating guests, and supporting beverage operations in a fast-paced setting by Little Island.

You will drive beverage sales, participate in inventory tasks, and collaborate with staff to ensure a memorable visit for every guest, with an hourly plus commission structure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years as a sommelier in a fast-paced restaurant.
• Deep knowledge of wines, winemaking, beer and spirits.
• Ability to deliver outstanding guest experiences and wine recommendations.
• English literacy and communication skills; ability to read and write POS.

Responsibilities

• Provide wine and beverage recommendations to guests.
• Support beverage department and assist with monthly inventory.
• Deliver high-quality guest experiences and exceed expectations.
• Upsell tableside and retail wine offerings.
• Maintain wine cellar cleanliness and organization.
• Communicate effectively with team and management.
