Qualifications

• Experience in upscale or fine-dining hospitality.

• Sommelier certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of wine and beverage program (wine, spirits, beer, cocktails, non-alcoholic).
• Curate a profitable wine list that complements cuisine and concept.
• Lead professional tableside wine service with knowledgeable recommendations.
• Develop wine and beverage pairings with culinary team.
• Manage purchasing, inventory, pricing, beverage costs, and supplier relationships.
• Train and mentor service staff on wine knowledge and hospitality standards.
• Conduct tastings and education to maintain a confident service team.
• Support wine dinners, events, tastings, and private dining experiences.
• Ensure responsible alcohol service and restaurant standards.
