Job summary

Guidehouse Inc. seeks a Senior Windows Server Administrator to maintain and secure enterprise Windows Server environments across on-premises, VMware, and cloud platforms.

You will implement patching, monitor performance, manage AD/DNS/DHCP, and support migrations to Azure, while leveraging PowerShell and Ansible to automate tasks. Candidates must have 6+ years' experience and be eligible for Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of engineering-level Windows Server experience in enterprise data centers.
• Experience deploying and managing Windows workloads in Azure and hybrid cloud environments.
• Experience with VMware-based infrastructure and vSphere.
• Strong PowerShell scripting and infrastructure automation.
• Experience with ITIL-based service management processes.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, patch, monitor, and maintain Windows Server OS across physical, virtual, and cloud environments.
• Manage AD, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy in hybrid environments.
• Support on-premises VMware vSphere workloads and assist migrations to Azure.
• Use cloud monitoring and security tools to maintain system health and compliance.
• Automate tasks with PowerShell and Ansible; maintain GitLab repositories.
• Provide 24x7 on-call support and document changes using ITSM tools.
