Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree, technical certificate or military training in network/windows server administration; 3–5 years’ experience
• Hardening Windows OS per DISA STIGs standards
• Experience with Microsoft Server OS, AD DS, DNS, DHCP, GPO and AD roles
• Experience installing and maintaining Fortinet or Cisco firewalls
• Experience with VMware/ESXi infrastructure
• Backup, disaster recovery, and high availability with NetApp/Commvault
• Experience integrating EDR/EMS/SIEM into networks

Responsibilities

• Daily administration of Windows server environments and network infrastructure
• Design, install, and configure hardened Windows servers/desktops per STIGs; on‑prem and Azure
• Manage Windows Server 2022, ESXi, Windows 11 devices, and IoT devices
• Apply vulnerability patches to remediation and ISSE guidance
• Maintain monitoring, configuration management, and reporting
• Provide after-hours support for incidents and maintenance
• Maintain inventory in JIRA Asset Database and generate change tickets
• Troubleshoot escalated issues with cross‑team and vendors
• Develop PowerShell scripts for automation
• Execute quarterly AD account audits and security group reviews
• Document system hardware/software configurations and updates
