Job summary

GuideIT, a US-based technology services company, seeks an experienced System Administrator to support and optimize server and cloud infrastructure for client environments. You will manage Windows Server, AD, DNS/DHCP, Microsoft 365, AWS, and Azure, with scripting to improve efficiency.

The role requires collaboration across teams, on‑call readiness, and travel up to 25% to customer sites in a hybrid, US‑wide capacity. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a system administrator in enterprise or managed services.
• Expertise in Windows Server, AD, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• AWS and Azure administration experience required.
• Microsoft 365 administration: Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Intune, Entra ID.
• Strong ITIL knowledge and regulatory compliance experience.
• Excellent communication and cross‑team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and support server and cloud infrastructure per client lead.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain on‑premises and cloud environments.
• Automate recurring tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or IaC tooling.
• Monitor performance, capacity planning, and cloud cost consumption.
• Manage backups, disaster recovery, and restore testing.
• Mentor junior admins and contribute to runbooks and standards.
