Job summary

Windows 10 to 11 Migration Support Technician

6 month project

We are seeking a skilled Windows 10 to 11 Migration Support Technician to assist with a company-wide operating system upgrade. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Windows 11, previous migration support experience, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently. This role involves providing ticket-based support and ensuring a smooth transition for end users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to incoming trouble tickets related to the Windows 10 to 11 migration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and compatibility issues during and after migration.
• Assist end users with Windows 11 features, settings, and performance optimizations.
• Work with IT teams to identify and escalate complex migration challenges.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and security protocols during the upgrade process.
• Document issues, resolutions, and best practices to improve migration efficiency.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with Windows 11 platform.
• Previous experience supporting OS migrations (Windows 10 to 11 preferred).
• Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows applications, drivers, and system settings.
• Experience working with ticketing systems to track and resolve user issues.
• Excellent communication and customer support skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with enterprise-wide deployments.
• Knowledge of Windows deployment tools (Intune, SCCM, MDT, etc.).
• Understanding of Active Directory and Group Policy changes in Windows 11.
