Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year or more experience supporting PCs and laptops in a business network setting or equivalent training.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1 to 2 years or more experience preferred for related roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 help desk support and resolve problems to the end user’s satisfaction.
• Monitor and respond quickly to requests received through the IT help desk.
• Modify configurations and software defaults for local workstations.
• Assign users and computers to proper groups in Active Directory.
• Document and update internal procedures as needed.
• Utilize and maintain the help desk tracking software.
• Assist with onboarding of new employees.
• Ensure each employee has working computer equipment and peripherals.
• Install, test and configure new workstations and software.
• Maintain inventory of equipment and licenses.
• Report issues to the Service Desk for escalation.
• Manage PC setup and deployment for new hires.
