Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an IT Helpdesk Specialist to provide first-level support across Windows-based environments and healthcare IT settings. You will handle account management, software installation, and user training, while ensuring timely ticket resolution and customer satisfaction.

The role requires an A+ certification, an Associates degree (or equivalent), and at least 3 years in a Windows-focused helpdesk.

Qualifications

Associates degree or equivalent IT certification required.
A+ certification required.
Minimum 3 years of helpdesk or tech support in a Windows environment.
Healthcare IT experience preferred.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong desktop support and basic hardware/software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Provide first-level technical troubleshooting via phone, chat, remote or in person.
Resolve tickets efficiently and document interactions in the ticketing system.
Handle account management tasks: password resets, unlocks, permissions.
Research, diagnose, and escalate issues as needed to tier 2.
Install, update, and configure software for end users.
Perform preventative maintenance on endpoint devices and build/rebuild devices as needed.
Provide end-user training on ISBH systems and rollout new systems.
Travel to offices within the service area as required.
Maintain IT inventory documentation and communicate risks.
