Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Lexington, NC seeks a Production Associate to join a fast-paced plant. You will assemble windows and doors with hand tools, lift and pack products, and help sustain safe operations while meeting production rates.

Starting pay is $16/hr with a $1.00 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts, supporting a collaborative, cross-trained team environment that values quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Read tape measures and interpret fractions/decimals.
• Read basic word/number cues and follow instructions.
• Operate power tools and use PPE appropriately.
• Identify hazards and follow safety protocols.
• Follow standard work and maintain quality requirements.
• Communicate clearly and actively listen.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products using hand tools; lift, pack, and palletize as required.
• Support employee engagement and participate in clean-up times.
• Maintain safe work practices and adhere to rate expectations.
• Contribute to improving standard work to enhance quality.
• Identify issues and communicate them to supervision.
• Assist in training co-workers and work across departments as needed.
