Job summary

Interior Logic Group is seeking a Windows Coordinator to ensure materials are ordered correctly by size, type, color, style, and quantity to support installation timelines.

You will coordinate installer and builder customer schedules, communicate with cross-functional teams, and quickly resolve issues to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum of two years related industry experience and/or training; window covering knowledge a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Interpersonal skills to develop and maintain professional relationships with builders, vendors and co-workers
• Communicate effectively with customers, co-workers and supervisors in a professional manner
• Proactively identify and resolve problem areas, conflicts and issues with sound judgment
• Exhibits sound and accurate judgment and includes appropriate people in decisions
• Works well under pressure and deadlines with good organizational tracking
• Knowledge of internet, inventory, project management, spreadsheets and word processing software; SAP knowledge a plus
• Must be a self-starter and able to work independently

Responsibilities

• Compare color selection sheets to floor plans and verify quantities of materials requested
• Order materials from approved vendors and verify receipt
• Analyze market and delivery systems for material availability
• Complete order forms and prepare purchase orders
• Track delivery dates or back-order status to meet schedules
• Coordinate install schedules with customers during installation and address issues
• Communicate with Production, Sales, Design, and Warehouse staff about schedule-impacting issues
• Identify and troubleshoot issues during scheduling or installation
• Coordinate installation schedules with multiple installers
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management

Summary

The primary responsibility of the Windows Coordinator is to ensure that all required materials are ordered as to size, type, color, style, design and amount to facilitate the installation process. As well, coordinate installation and customer care schedules with installers and builder customer to ensure a timely delivery/install. This position requires a strong problem solver, superior communicator, and demonstrate diligence and urgency in their responses to both customers and peers.

Essential Responsibilities

• Compares color selection sheets to floor plans and diagrams and verifies proper quantities of raw materials have been requested
• Order materials from approved vendors and verify their receipt
• Analyzes market and delivery systems to assess present and future material availability
• Complete order forms, prepare purchase orders, compile information for installation and customer care jobs
• Track delivery dates or back-order status of materials ordered for jobs to ensure schedule can be met
• Coordinate install schedules with customer during installation process and any customer care issues; Builder and Homebuyer
• Communicate with Production, Sales, Design, and Warehouse staff with any issues that will impact schedule
• Identify and troubleshoot issues that may arise while scheduling or during installation
• Coordinate installation schedules with multiple installers
• Other duties, as assigned by supervisor and/or company management

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum of two years related industry experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Window covering knowledge is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Interpersonal skills to develop and maintain professional working relationships with builders, vendors and co-workers
• Communicate effectively with customers, co-workers and supervisors in a professional and courteous manner
• Proactively identify, analyze, address, and resolve problem areas, conflicts, and issues. Strong decision-making skills
• Exhibits sound and accurate judgment, supports and explains reasoning for decisions, includes appropriate people in decision-making process, and makes timely decisions
• Works well under pressure and deadlines
• Strong organizational skills to ensure adequate tracking systems are utilized to maintain and track all required information associated with the ordering and production process
• Working knowledge of internet, inventory, project management, spreadsheet and word process software and order processing systems. SAP knowledge a plus
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently

Pay range: $24-$26/hour plus benefits
