Job summary

Medasource is seeking an IT deployment technician to upgrade a large healthcare workstation fleet from Windows 10 to Windows 11. The role covers approximately 5,000 desktops and laptops across the health system, with hands-on imaging, driver installation, and hardware swaps.

The project includes PXE-based deployment using BigFix OS Deployment, real-time end-user support, and travel to South Bend, Elkhart, and off-site clinics as needed to complete the upgrade on schedule.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Windows 10 and 11.
• Comfortable assisting end users with basic computer usage questions.
• Comfortable swapping computer hardware/peripherals.
• Basics of installing software/drivers within Windows.

Responsibilities

• Upgrade workstation fleet from Windows 10 to Windows 11 across ~5K desktops/laptops.
• Perform hardware replacements and reimaging to Windows 11.
• Provide training on imaging/software installation.
• Use PXE for Windows 11 deployment via BigFix OS Deployment; install drivers and configure replacements.
• Physically swap devices and coordinate travel to South Bend, Elkhart and off-site clinics.
