Job summary

Builders FirstSource, Inc. is seeking an energetic outside sales professional focused on windows and building materials.

You will prospect, build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers, especially single-family builders and residential contractors, and provide product knowledge and consultation. The role emphasizes sales growth with commission potential and a strong customer-service commitment.

Qualifications

• Experience in the lumber/building materials industry required or preferred.
• Construction industry experience is a plus.
• We are willing to train the right candidate who fits with our team.

Responsibilities

• Represent the company during the sales process and collect data on customer needs.
• Develop sales contracts for a range of projects.
• Troubleshoot field issues and provide product knowledge and consultation.
• Plan and conduct sales presentations for customers.
• Research and solicit new customers to generate sales opportunities.
• Keep customers updated on products and how they meet requirements.
