Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands Aperture Solutions is hiring a Production Associate 2 to perform windows and doors assembly, ensuring safety and quality while minimizing waste. This role supports efficient flow of materials, adheres to defined rates, and collaborates with teammates across shifts.

You will operate hand tools, monitor quality, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to meet customer demand and on-time delivery. Prior manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a tape measure and interpret fractions/decimals
• Ability to read basic word/number cues
• Operate power tools with PPE knowledge
• Identify hazards and safety protocols
• Measure and tolerance awareness
• Follow Standard Work instructions
• Quality recognition for workstation CTQ
• Communicate effectively
• Time management and awareness of cycle times
• Mathematical ability with fractions/decimals
• Computer system navigation
• Stand for 8-10 hours with good posture
• Root cause problem solving
• Dependability and punctuality
• Shape recognition against sample drawings
• Inventory monitoring and WIP scrap management
• Wear required PPE (metatarsal shoes, guards, ear protection, safety glasses)
• Cross-train for various departments
• Repetitive motion endurance
• Adhere to company policies and supervisor instructions
• Teamwork, initiative, problem solving
• ERP knowledge (WTS Paradigm)
