Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Production Associate for the 3rd shift (6 pm–6 am, Sunday–Thursday) to fabricate and assemble window components.

This fast-paced, physically demanding role involves mass production of windows, doors, and glass units and may require material handling tasks. You will operate hand and power tools, read orders and measurements, and perform quality checks while following verbal and written instructions.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
• Ability to carry out written or verbal instructions.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.
• Preferably with experience in manufacturing.
• Preferably with experience reading a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units.
• May support the window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading of materials or windows.
• Perform any workstation function using hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers.
• Understand and carry out verbal instructions.
• Read and carry out simple written instructions.
• Read work orders, labels, and schedules.
• Use a tape measure, inspect for defects, and read measurements during interview if asked.
• Operate any equipment needed to perform a job.
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees.
