Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Production Associate 1 to support fabrication and assembly of window components in a fast paced manufacturing environment in the United States. Start time is 7am, and you will operate hand tools, lift windows, move carts, and assist in quality checks.

You will follow safety guidelines, participate in cross-training, and help with production planning using reports. Full-time roles include comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Ability to measure lengths accurately to 1/32”.
• Ability to read and interpret common statistical data and reports.
• Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
• Capable of using computerized equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operation of various hand tools to manually build window units.
• Lift windows onto build tables and roller racks.
• Movement of carts in and out of production work areas.
• Operation of saws to cut wood and mull units; operate dies.
• Apply hardware to units with appropriate tooling.
• Operate stretch wrapping equipment.
• Utilize production reports to assist in production planning.
• Ensure overall quality by performing quality audits and solving issues.
• Observe safety, health and environmental guidelines; wear PPE.
• Cross-rotate with other operators and assist training as needed.
• All other tasks assigned by Supervisor.
