Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Production Associate 1 to fabricate and assemble window components. The role starts at 7pm and involves operating hand tools, sawing wood for mull units, and applying hardware with proper tooling.

Expect cross-rotation with other operators and participation in training initiatives. You will follow safety guidelines, conduct quality checks, and use production reports to assist planning.

Qualifications

• Ability to measure lengths accurately to 1/32 in.
• Ability to read and interpret statistics, productivity reports, and written instructions.
• Capable of using computerized equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools to assemble window units.
• Lift and move windows onto build tables and racks.
• Move carts in the production area safely.
• Operate saws to cut wood for mull units and use punch press dies.
• Apply hardware using appropriate tooling.
• Operate stretch wrapping equipment.
• Use production reports to aid planning.
• Conduct quality audits and participate in problem solving.
• Follow safety guidelines and wear PPE.
• Cross-train and assist other operators as needed.
• Support supervisor with other tasks as assigned.
