Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Production Associate for the dayshift to support the fabrication and assembly of window components. The role involves manual assembly, lifting units, and moving materials within the production area, with responsibilities across several departments.

The successful candidate will perform quality checks, follow safety guidelines, and participate in cross-training initiatives as needed to ensure on-time production and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Ability to measure lengths accurately to 1/32.
• Ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Ability to read and interpret statistical data and productivity reports.
• Ability to define problems and collect data.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools to assemble window components as part of final assembly.
• Lift windows onto build tables and onto roller racks.
• Move carts in and out of the production area.
• Use various saws to cut wood and mull units; operate dies in fabrication.
• Attach hardware using appropriate tooling.
• Operate stretch wrapping equipment for packaging.
• Use production reports to assist in planning and quality audits.
• Participate in cross-rotation and training as needed.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and wear PPE.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.
