Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is hiring a Production Associate for its manufacturing facility in the United States. The role focuses on fabrication and production of component parts for final window assembly in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates will have manufacturing experience, be able to read a tape measure, and lift up to 50 pounds while standing for long periods. Training begins with a Monday–Friday schedule; weekend shifts offer a differential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.
• Preferably with experience in manufacturing.
• Preferably with experience reading a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units.
• May support the window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading of materials or windows.
• Perform any workstation function using hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers.
• Understand and carry out verbal instructions.
• Read and carry out simple written instructions.
• Read work orders, labels, and schedules.
• Use a tape measure and read measurements during interview, inspect for defects.
• Make fraction and decimal conversions.
• Operate equipment needed to perform a job.
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees.
