Job summary

Next Door & Window is seeking a Service Technician to perform field service repairs on windows and doors across the Chicagoland area. You will identify required parts, adjust hardware for proper operation, and complete paint/stain touch ups and trim installations while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualified candidates have at least two years in window/door service or related handyman/appliance repair experience and possess strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in window/door installation or service preferred.
• Experience in handyman, small engine repair, or appliance repair translates well.
• Eye for detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Mechanical aptitude to diagnose and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Field service repair of customer window and door issues.
• Identify parts needed to correct concerns.
• Adjust doors and windows for proper operation.
• Paint and stain touch ups as required.
