Schillings is seeking a Retail Salesperson with an emphasis in Windows & Doors at our St. John, IN location. This full-time role offers advancement opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Typical schedule is Monday through Saturday with a weekday day off; no Sundays or late evenings. Responsibilities include building relationships with walk-in customers, estimating products, answering complex inquiries, and meeting sales targets across the full product line.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Persuasive and people-oriented.
• Attention to detail.
• Sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with walk-in customers to enhance sales opportunities.
• Communicate with Purchasing on needs for special products.
• Estimate building products accurately.
• Answer complex questions within the sales framework.
• Develop relationships to inform planning strategies.
• Collaborate on special projects as needed.
• Collect, analyze, and report sales data (quotes, estimates, bids).
• Provide suggestions for improvement across the company.
• Establish and maintain major account relationships and meet sales targets.
• Provide training and guidance on Windows & Doors.
• Build sales and meet sales goals.
