Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands Aperture Solutions seeks a Production Associate 1 to perform windows and doors assembly, maintain quality and minimize waste, and help deliver products on time while working safely with a sense of urgency.

You will read tape measures and fractions, use hand and power tools, follow standard work, assist training of coworkers, and participate in cross‑training across departments as needed in a fast‑paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read tape measures and interpret fractions and decimals.
• Ability to read basic words and numbers and visual cues.
• Operate hand tools and power tools with dexterity and follow PPE requirements.
• Identify hazards and follow safety protocols including PPE usage.
• Follow standard work instructions and maintain quality.
• Cross-train across departments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools and assemble, lift, pick and pack products.
• Support and participate in employee engagement activities.
• Follow defined clean-up times and safe work practices.
• Work safely and follow established rate definitions.
• Assist with training co-workers and maintain a respectful workplace.
• Perform other duties across the plant as directed by supervision.
