Job summary

ABB in Athens, GA is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead assembly and winding operations, ensure quality, maintain safe work practices, and drive production efficiency on the shop floor. You will rotate between winding centers, read factory orders and prints, perform measurements with gauges, and support a shift-based manufacturing environment.

A high school diploma is required and physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to read and interpret prints, orders, routings and other internal documentation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a factory environment with shift work.

Responsibilities

• Lead assembly and winding operations to produce semi-finished or final products.
• Use light hand tools and perform quality testing as part of production processes.
• Maintain clean work area and follow standard operating procedures.
• Rotate between winding centers within an 18-month period as required.
• Read and understand verbal and written technical instructions in English.
