Job summary

ABB in Pinetops, NC is seeking a hands-on Production Associate to support the unit in achieving production targets on the shop floor. You will read and interpret technical diagrams, assemble products, and operate machinery on-site, contributing to efficient line performance.

The role requires a high school diploma, US work authorization, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Following SOPs, you will maintain a clean area and participate in quality testing and packing as part of the production

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Legal authorization to work in the US is required.
• Knowledge and use of tools such as tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools.
• Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs.

Responsibilities

• Conducting all types of assembly work to produce semi-finished or final products/systems/panels, including packing when integrated with production lines.
• Performing work manually or by using light hand tools.
• Carrying out regular quality testing as part of a defined production process.
• Operating within standard operating procedures and maintaining a clean work area.
