Job summary

ABB in Athens, GA is seeking an Assembly Worker to produce semi-finished or final products on our production lines. You will perform manual assembly, use light tools, and conduct routine quality tests in a safe, fast-paced environment.

This role requires reading prints, following procedures, and willingness to work in shifts. You’ll lift up to 50 lbs, operate basic gauges, and learn across two work centers within 18 months. Onsite, with strong safety training and opportunity to grow within ABB.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Ability to read and interpret prints, factory orders and routings.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in an industrial setting.
• Follow safety procedures and work in shifts as required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assembly of semi-finished or final products and pack as required.
• Perform work manually or with light hand tools.
• Carry out regular quality testing as part of the production process.
• Maintain clean and organized work area and follow SOPs.
• Read and understand technical instructions in English and from prints.
