Job summary

ABB in Athens, GA is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead assembly operations in the winding department, ensuring quality and productivity across shifts. The role is onsite and requires reading prints, following routings, and maintaining safety standards.

You will oversee multiple winding centers, implement SOPs, and guide teams to meet production targets while upholding quality. Strong communication in English is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret prints, factory orders and routings.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in an industrial manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assembly work to produce semi-finished or final products/systems/panels.
• Perform work manually or with light hand tools.
• Carry out regular quality testing as part of a defined production process.
• Operate within standard operating procedures and maintain a clean work area.
• Demonstrate ability to work in two winding department centers within 18 months.
• Read and understand verbal and written technical instructions in English and respond in English.
