Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. seeks a Wind Technician to maintain wind turbine operation, perform diagnostics, and execute on-site safety and quality procedures. The role requires local travel within the hub and collaboration with Site Lead and Manager to ensure contract requirements are met.

Responsibilities include equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentation of work. Candidates should have 1+ year wind tech experience or related electrical work, plus a valid driver's license and basic

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ year experience as a Wind Technician/Wind Mechanic, or 2 years electrical work.
• Passing a Technical Knowledge Assessment required.
• Basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Work with site & hub leadership to meet customer obligations and daily activities on turbine systems.
• Perform maintenance, repair or replacement of parts to fix malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on turbines.
• Document all work using computer-based service reporting procedures.
• Coordinate with GE's remote operations center when needed.
