Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a Wind Technician to support daily turbine operations at multiple wind sites within the hub. You will work with site leadership to fulfill contractual obligations, perform maintenance and repairs, and ensure safety and quality across electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.

This role requires travel within the hub, the ability to climb towers, and a valid driver's license. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year wind technician/wind mechanic experience or wind certificate program/Associates Degree in Energy.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and climb towers up to 300 feet.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and on-call as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain turbine operations, safety, quality control and warranty repairs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on turbines.
• Perform maintenance, repair or replacement of parts to fix malfunctions.
• Document work and coordinate with GE remote operations center as needed.
• Work with site leadership to meet customer contractual obligations.
