Strong safety focus and teamwork are essential. The position requires prior wind industry experience or relevant certificates, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work in various environments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year as Wind Technician/Wind Mechanic or Wind Certificate/Associate’s in Energy, or 2 years electrical work experience.
• Pass Technical Knowledge Assessment.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Work with site leadership to fulfill customer requirements and daily activities on GE wind turbine equipment.
• Perform maintenance, repair or replacement of parts to fix malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on turbine systems.
• Assist in site operations with minimal supervision while observing safety requirements.
• Conduct diagnostic electrical analyses and document work using service reporting procedures.
• Coordinate with GE’s remote operations center when needed.
