Job summary

The Wind Technician position at GE Vernova, Inc. requires local travel within the hub and focuses on keeping wind turbine operations safe, reliable, and efficient. You’ll work closely with Site Lead and Manager to fulfill contract requirements and timelines, ensuring alignment with GE standards.

Responsibilities include maintenance, diagnostics, and collaboration with remote operations as needed, with safety and quality at the forefront of daily tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ year of wind technician experience or wind-related certificate; or 2 years electrical work.
• Pass a Technical Knowledge Assessment.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with site and hub leadership to meet obligations daily.
• Perform maintenance, repair or replacement of parts to fix malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on turbines.
• Support site operations with minimal supervision and safety adherence.
• Conduct diagnostic electrical analysis.
• Document all work using computer-based service reporting procedures.
• Coordinate with GE's remote operations center as needed.
