Job summary

Avangrid Power seeks a Wind Turbine Technician to operate and maintain wind turbine equipment at the Shenandoah, PA plant. You will troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems and perform repairs per OEM specs.

This role requires on‑site work, adherence to safety protocols, and willingness to travel. Candidates should have a technical certificate or wind industry training and be prepared for overtime. Salary ranges are DOE.

Qualifications

• 1 year of college or technical school or 12 months wind industry training or equivalent.
• Familiarity with maintenance and electronic testing equipment.
• Advanced computer skills for reporting and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain wind turbine equipment and plant systems.
• Read schematics and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Perform component repair or replacement per OEM specs.
• Adhere to safety and environmental programs.
• Collect data and prepare wind plant reports.
• Support construction walk‑downs when needed.
• Travel 10–15% and work overtime as required.
