Job summary

Avangrid Power is hiring a Wind Turbine Technician for on-site operations in Shenandoah, PA. You will lead maintenance, repair, and replacement of wind turbine equipment and related infrastructure under the Plant Manager's direction.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting complex systems, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring safety and environmental compliance in daily plant operations.

Qualifications

• One year college or technical school certificate; or 12 months of related experience; or wind industry training.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain wind turbine equipment and associated infrastructure.
• Read schematics and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues.
• Repair or replace parts following OEM requirements.
• Perform preventive maintenance per OEM manuals.
• Travel as needed (10–15%).
• Adhere to safety programs and internal controls.
