Deutsche Windtechnik is looking for a Technician II in Dayton, Washington to perform maintenance and troubleshooting of wind turbines. Responsibilities include working independently on electrical and mechanical components, interpreting fault reports, and taking part in the Lock Out Tag Out program. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience as a Wind Turbine Technician and a High School Diploma or GED. Qualifications
1+ year’s experience as a Wind Turbine Technician.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions.
Capable of lifting and/or moving up to 100 pounds.
Fit enough to free climb 300 feet with climbing gear.
Responsibilities
Support mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems troubleshooting.
Complete paperwork including work order cards and checklists.
Recognize wind turbine error codes and report issues.
Assist with high-voltage system maintenance.
Perform routine and unscheduled maintenance on turbines.
