Avangrid Power is seeking a Wind Turbine Technician to perform onsite operations, maintenance, repairs, and equipment replacement at a wind generation plant. The role requires climbing towers, working in varied weather, and occasional travel.

The candidate will participate in preventive maintenance and support QA/QC activities under supervision. The position offers base compensation with location-dependent pay and opportunities for bonuses, benefits, and career advancement.

Formación

• One year college or technical school certificate; or 12 months of related experience or wind industry training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Familiarity with maintenance and electronic testing equipment.
• Advanced computer skills utilizing word processing, spreadsheets, email, facility control, management and reporting systems.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and maintain wind turbine equipment and associated infrastructure.
• Read schematics and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems.
• Repair or replace mechanical and electrical components per OEM specs.
• Perform preventive maintenance per OEM manuals.
• Adhere to safety programs and internal controls.
• Collect data and prepare reports for wind plant operations.
• Support QA/QC efforts and document findings.
• Assist in construction walkthroughs when needed.
