Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of related maintenance experience.
• GWO Basic Safety Training certificate preferred.
• Experience around heavy equipment preferred.
• Ability to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair turbine mechanical, hydraulic, braking, and electrical systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Team-oriented with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Participates daily in morning safety meeting.
• Completes inspection of equipment and tools for safe use.
• Participate in Job Safety Analysis.
• Inspect the exterior and physical integrity of the tower.
• Climb towers to inspect, troubleshoot, or repair turbine equipment.
• Test electrical components and systems, as well as mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical malfunctions.
• Service wind field substations or related systems.
• Replace worn or malfunctioning components.
• Follow maintenance manuals and SOPs for turbine maintenance.
• Complete and validate written and electronic progress reports.
• End-of-day housekeeping.
• Perform other job-related duties.
