Job summary

Takkion TP&L Holdings LLC is seeking a Wind Technician to inspect, maintain, operate, and repair wind turbines at partnered sites across the region. You will join a collaborative field team and contribute to ongoing project success.

You will climb towers up to 260 feet, test electrical and hydraulic systems, and follow safety procedures while documenting progress and completing end-of-day duties. A proactive, team-oriented mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of related maintenance experience.
• Active GWO Basic Safety Training preferred.
• Experience around heavy equipment preferred.
• Must understand turbine mechanical, hydraulic, braking, and electrical systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Team-oriented with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, operate, and repair wind turbines at partnered sites.
• Climb towers to inspect, troubleshoot, or repair turbine equipment.
• Test electrical components and systems, and mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical malfunctions.
• Service wind field substations, or fiber optic sensing and control systems as needed.
• Follow maintenance manuals and standard operating procedures; complete reports and housekeeping.
