Job summary

Deutsche Windtechnik AG in Houston, TX seeks a Technical Trainer to develop and deliver US-based training for wind turbine platforms, coordinate JPMs and LMS progress, and support safety, operations, and quality functions.

This role requires traveling across the USA to deliver field training, create content, and collaborate with the global training team. Strong MS Office skills and excellent written/presentation abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• 5 years in a similar role or equivalent wind-industry training experience
• College degree in a relevant field preferred
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel) and basic troubleshooting
• Ability to develop and modify wind turbine training content and JPMs

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver US-based training programs for wind turbine platforms and other technical/regulatory subjects
• Create training content, JPMs, and assessment tools; manage LMS progress
• Travel to WTG sites across the USA to facilitate field training
• Coordinate with global training team and internal departments on safety and quality initiatives
• Maintain and update training materials and ensure competency through testing and documentation
