Job summary

Deutsche Windtechnik is seeking an Associate Technician in the Houston, TX area to support maintenance on wind turbines. You will work with and be mentored by senior technicians, learning to perform routine inspections and repairs using mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic skills.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, the ability to pass a physical and drug test, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds and climb towers up to 300 feet.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; an associate degree is a bonus.
• Ability to pass a physical exam and drug/alcohol screening.
• Lift up to 100 pounds and climb turbines up to 300 ft.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on wind turbines using mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic skills.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems and report issues.
• Assist with site operations and maintain safety standards.
