Job summary

FieldCore Service Solutions LLC in Houston, TX seeks a Technical Field Instructor III to deliver on-site training for turbine and generator maintenance at customer facilities. The role requires guiding engineers to operate confidently, leading gas, steam, and combined cycle training, and developing materials for programs.

The candidate will manage training budgets, oversee class materials, and travel up to 50% domestically/internationally.

Qualifications

• 2 years of technical instructor experience.
• 2 years of experience with excitation, controls, or mechanical operation and control philosophies.
• 2 years of experience in power plant maintenance, turbine generator maintenance, power plant equipment installation/commissioning, or turbine controls/excitation control systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical training to customer-owned utility and industrial power plants.
• Lead training for FieldCore on gas, steam, and combined cycle operations and maintenance.
• Design, develop and deliver turbine maintenance and operations training; prepare classroom or support materials.
• Manage training budgets, costs, and expenses; monitor budget standards and FieldCore policies.
