Job summary

Deutsche Windtechnik, headquartered in Houston, TX, is seeking an Associate Technician to support wind turbine maintenance. You will work with senior technicians, applying mechanical and electrical skills to keep turbines running and safe.

You will perform routine preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, read drawings and procedures, and help with on-site operations while following safety rules and LOTO requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED. An associate degree is a bonus, but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on wind turbines bringing your skills in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulics.
• Perform unscheduled maintenance including troubleshooting on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices.
• Establish and maintain safety practices such as Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO).
