Job summary

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy in the United States (New Mexico) is seeking a Wind Technician to service and maintain wind turbines. You will perform repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance to ensure reliability and safety, often in challenging environments and at heights.

Travel up to 15% within the district is required. A high school diploma and 2+ years in mechanical/electrical/hydraulic fields are preferred; college degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree desirable.
• 2+ years in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic field preferred.
• Ability to pass a medical physical and meet safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain Siemens Gamesa wind turbines and components.
• Perform repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance.
• Collaborate with technicians in demanding and hazardous conditions.
• Work safely and effectively in a team to maximize uptime.
